Wedding videos have been around since the early 1980’s and were up until recent years renowned for being ‘cheesy’ boring and not in the slightest bit creative - THINGS HAVE CHANGED!

Technology has played a major part in the transformation of the industry within the last five years, with such kit as steadicams, cranes and possibly the biggest change of all HD DSLRs enabling us film makers to use depth of field as a story telling device.

This coupled with a creative inspiring mind set has been the cause of the emergence of a relatively new genre of film maker.

The main difference is not just standing in place with a camera at all the right times, but using techniques usually associated with big budget movies to tell the story in a more creative interesting way. It is exciting times in my industry and I am very happy to be a part of the shift into a respectable profession.
